Katie's journey traces back to the bustling streets of Brooklyn, NY, but for the past two decades, she has called South Carolina home. With a background steeped in 15 years of ballet, tap, and jazz, she found solace and serenity in yoga, seamlessly integrating mindful movement into her adult life post-college. Since earning her 200RYT certification in 2019, Katie has infused her yoga classes with a refreshing dose of lightheartedness, offering a delightful counterbalance to the intensity of power yoga.
Known as the resident hippie wherever she goes, Katie's innate curiosity and compassion manifest in her diverse interests—from reading birth charts and sharing her latest vegan recipes to guiding impromptu meditations before class. But perhaps her true passion lies in crafting playlists for her classes, ensuring that each session is accompanied by the perfect blend of beats to elevate your downward dogs.
Nestled in the heart of Greenville, Katie shares her life with her incredibly patient husband, Cole, who graciously indulges her love for trash reality TV and delightfully expensive craft beer.
